Joel,
can you pack a couple of gallons of treated water to do a partial change for that long of a time?
And is the water where you are moving to harder or softer? Culture shock is not a good thing in fish.:WHOA:

i'll bring extra water from where i am now. i am moving to Port Richie thats near you i think. don't know the water quality yet. Hopefully my fish will adapt ok.

Great. Water here for the most part is ok, unless you have well water, them could be Very sulfury. Well, have a safe journey and show us the right way to pack fish for a trip.
Remember that VW commercial with the tank in the back !!!

Are you here yet ?

well saturday the 1st of july I will be moving all my tanks and fish ~2hrs plus time to tear down, and re setup up...
I plan on using a combination of buckets, and maybe a cooler or 2 (plenty of fish to move). i don't think I have time to order battery operated air pumps, but was thinking of getting an inverter from walmart or some place else around here and using one of my larger pumps to drive a line to each bucket and or cooler. I will also be using jungle tabs "bag buddies". hopefully this will work out...
and good luck with yours as well!

Walmart has small battery powered air pumps for bait.

Where are you in IL ?

Or you could get a power converter to run your air pump that you already have, later you could get another air pump to keep in your car in the cooler for emergency fish purchases.

Always be prepared. :grinyes:
