best way to remove Tanins?

The above suggestion always works otherwise just time and water changes.
Purigen is more expensive than water at the moment.
 
Thanks for the replys. Its not terrible, the tank jus has a slight yellowish tinge. It does look kinds cool its just not crystal clear. I'll just keep up with water changes.
 
I boil all my pieces in salted water for several hours, but they still leach for a few weeks. Be warned, the pot (if you can find one big enough) will be extremely difficult to clean.
