Best way to travel with a 180 gallon tank

I transported my 180g glass and stand in the back of a v8 tundra in an 8-hour drive with zero problem. And I remember hitting some bumps along the way. Just strap the thing down tightly and drive normally (unless you're a maniac driver!). Don't put 2x4 under the tank as F1Vet suggested; just lay the tank flat (bottom down) on the truck bed for a maximum surface contact. A minivan would do fine too, but it will fit only either tank or stand. Put some towels on the bottom if you'd like but I didn't. 4 of us asian guys (5'6" 160lbs) can carry it no problem. Good luck!
I always put a moving blanket down on the bottom first then lay tank on that. Strap it down put pads where strap goes and go.
