Sounds like you gots a whole diff problem brother.

The cucumbers in my fridge always seemed RELATIVELY large. I am cucumber green with envy.

havent eatin a cucumber yet, but will gobble up a shrimp pellet or algea wafer, also stays on driftwood!!

I use the whole cucumber and sink it down by inserting a SS fork into it. All my Royal is crazy for this raw veggie but the only drawback is dirty the water easily.
So, I only feed it on Sat and then do the water changing on Sunday. ;)

agree with the water getting dirty....after I leave a couple of pieces of zucchini or cucumber for my albinos overnight...the water turns all green...does this just come with the territory of feeding cucumbers???? do you guys think its harmful for the other fishes if water is left for a couple of days??

Put it extremely low at night right next to its hiding spot, then gradually move it away from the hiding spot to the spot you want him to eat so you can see the pleco better. It worked with my pleco and now I can just put a little piece in are dusk and watch them come up to that spot to eat.

I went to my local fish store and seen they had that clip on all there tanks with a CuCumber, so I bought that same clip and figured I would read up on it here before trying it out..

Is this done for pleco mostly or does other fish like this?

I like to cut a zucchini in 1/4s, then stick a fork in it and lay it on the bottom. The SAE's get to it first, followed by the ABN, then the rest of the plecos, the sewellia lineolata, and lastly, the farlos. Never any leftovers ! I do this 2 or 3 times a week.

i just stab at an angle with a fork(dedicated to tank use). drop the whole works near the normal hang outs..........veggies disappear.
