what is the fish/whatever on the second pic down coming out from the dark on the far left?

Way on the far left is a fork snout catfish (aka ripsaw cat) coming straight at the camera, just to the right of him is a redtail cat. The turtles are Arrau side neck turtles. There are also tiger shovels, peacock bass, arapaima and a large group of motors. Oh, and two manatees ....can't for get them!

I used to have a tank at work...I started school and no one took care of it while I was away :( I took the tank down and gave it to my friend. I wish I had pics of the tank. It had black gravel, glow-in-the-dark plants, a neon-colored pot. It had neon tetras, a female betta, glass cats, and otocinculs.

sorry i haven't posted yet-I totally forgot that today was reptile and amphibian day at the museum,a nd so I was called in for about 12 hours. I shot a couple rolls of film just for you guys, but probably 3/4 of ti is of the reptiles, cause that is what I was around, but the rest is of tanks. The herps really are amazing when they all come out of the back room though- 4 or 5 alligators, 2 caimans, a fresh/saltwater cross croc, chinese alligator. Then along with the obligatory corn/rat/gerden snakes (actually, int he local vernacular they are known as garter or gator snakes), there's the collection of local venomous snakes, a california glossy that's over 52 years old, my favorite-a gaboon viper, a plethora of pythons, some emerald tree boas, and water snakes. Then there's the yemenese chameleon the madagascar spring chameleon (leafhopper) the newly acquired mellers, the turtles, wow, there's so much. Will post when I get the pics back.
