Beta and Guppies

a friend fed one of my FEMALE bettas a guppy once, i'd recomend against it.

My betta attacks the snails in this tanks, he is a feisty little guy. Putting anything around his tank makes him angry.

i wouldnt, they might be ok at first but the second the betta gets hungry or mad bye bye guppy

It must depend on the fish. I have a betta in with some young angels and a few guppies with no problems........yet.

I had an angry red betta swimming around with a small guppy head hanging out of his mouth before ! they can be mean!! I think they will also go after similar looking fish to themselves like fancy guppies, so it may just depend on your betta?

i've had them together, but it was a mised community tank with other fish species, it depends on the betta. I've had extremely aggressive female bettas who killed any male i put in with her and other females too sooo... do it if you want but keep an eye on things in case.
