betta hate crayfish

If it's a small cray, it's a fish snack. If it's a big cray, the fish is the snack. That's pretty much solid info right there. Sure, some individuals might not prey on each other, but the odds of finding a betta and crayfish that don't see each other (one or the other, etc.) as snacks at the same time are pretty slim.

i did not remove the claw and i removed the betta cuz i do not want the betta to hurt his face on the cray

Me too. I'm confused! Are crayfish species different from the common "budbug crawdads" in ponds and creeks?

The claws grow back when they lose them in battle, just like the Blue Crab! Are mable "crayfish" unable to "grow" their claws back?
