Betta thoughts?

Or you can go wild type Betta albimarginata..there are many lovely types of bettas other than betta splendens

they are lovely fish and do best 2-3 males per female they are mouth brooders^_^ I breed them

Those are pretty cool! how much does a breeding group run? I knew there where mouth brooders ect out there.. but those guys are really gorgeous and I'm sure those pics don't do them justice.

they normally run about 20$ per fish ..and no the pics do not do them justice at all!...been meaning to try my hand at shipping ;)
 
I have one betta in 15 litre tank ,i used to have alot but somehow they got through the barriers i put up anyway they all died but i was fed up with there behaviour to each other so stoped getting them for a couple yrs

Bettas are really cool. Screw the people who keep them in bowls. Not only is it cruel as hell, but they miss out on so much... I had one in a planted/filtered 5g a few years ago and he was an awesome wet pet, so much personality. He used to sleep in a java fern leaf that curled right below the surface.

betta bowl people should live in a closet, I used to keep mine in 5.5 but they seem happy in split 20, my oldest boy just dies and had a whole planted 10
 
i had an awesome betta in a planted nano tank, ordered him from thailand and it was the longest month waiting for my lil guy to arrive. it was crazy paying like 60 dollar shipping on a 12 dollar fish, but so worth it. very personable and active and the color was amazing after a few days in his new home. the one big shock was the size, when i got him he was tiny compared to what you would find in stores, but grew very large for a betta quick
