Betta

All- I bought my son's a couple of Betta's .. They have built a bubble nest. what is the next step/ have bred alot of fish but not Bettas. Should I place a net breeder around the bubble nest , leave it alone or what? have 3 octocynclus and 1 neon tetra in the tank. Obviously not the little monsters I have in my other tanks.
