supposedly, the black coloration is the "death" color for bettas,

i've heard that when two black bettas spawn, majority of the babies die

Thanx! they dont really dwell there,I put them outside where they can catch mosquito pupas for free and saves me a lot from fishfood

Do you keep them in that small container(Is that a whisky glass???) outside? What about temperature fluctuations? What's the lowest tempertaure you get there? Here i've kept betta fry outside in about 14 degees C.
I've NEVER been able to make bettas get through winter in bowls.
Any tips for me??

Yeah some kind of cancer. Black melano or something... I've read on that before. They don't breed true at all i think.
