Bettas as pets? Never had one...mini tank for my son

My friends Berta lives in a community tank with black window tetras, guppies, a face,a glo lite tetra and a couple other fish, they all get along

The guppies don't nip the bettas fins?

My widows didn't nip Bruce (deceased betta) but have been known to be nippy.

That's awesome if she has a long finned betta with "nippy" fish that don't nip him!

Glofish are a byproduct of an experiment to create fish that can be used as a living indicator of pollutants or water quality. I dont like the look of them but they are basically the same as any other fish of the species.

My Betta is great and very inquisitive
