I have 2 pretty calm bettas. NEVER even seen them flare at eachother through a breedr net.
Is there a chance if I SUPER heavly planted a spare 10 so you can't even see halfway through I could keep these two together?:)

A 10g is way too small for trying something like that. Even though they appear to be mellow, things can change very quickly when placed in a different environment.

they have done some study, even in a large pond, talking 1000gal+. 2 fish sill will seek each other out and fight, it's not aggression its just pond domination.

My brother has 2 in his 55 and they will occasionally swim by each other and flare up and fight, so i'm thingin in a 10 it could get bad

Bettas defend their nests and the small surrounding area, in a 10 gal it my be a hit and miss thing but in a 1000gal+ pond you could have quite a few, I had two in my 55 and they didn't even know the other existed.

Very heavily planted, possibly, although I think you'll have a better chance in a larger tank (20-30gal)

just out of curiosity what would happen if I was to do a 20 gallon wiith like 20 or so bettas? Would the entire group fight?

if you did a 20 with 20 bettas you would probally end up with 1 maybe 2 bettas left
