hey guys I have a 30 long that i want to put to use.

I would like to keep a frog seeing as i am ignorant to how to keep them.
I am not all that experienced but im a quick learner so experience isnt a question. I would like a ground dwelling frog not a climber and of the many that i have seen the coolest looking ones that i dont have to kill myself to obtain are the tomato and PacMan.

which one allows for a few in the tank.?
whos more aggresive?
Who is harder to take care of etc...

Any responses would be sweet.

The only frog I own is a male Pyxie. If I was to get another ground dwelling species I'd go with a Tomato. I really love their coloring.

Both are relatively easy to take care of but cleanliness its a absolute must specialy in a small tank like yours, dailly water change and possible substrate replacement to avoid formacion of amonia is crucial. Only the tomato can live with its own kind, packmans will eat each other, even of the same size(you can lose both, one because it was half eaten and the other because it wasnt able to let go)

i have had pac man frogs but i would say Tomato frog is better
dont forget about pixies:grinno:

if you want more than one, tomatos.
Pacmans are aggressive, and will choke trying to eat thing bigger than they are..

pacman, but be careful, they'll give a nasty bite!

I love my tomato frog, comes out I think more than pacs,I wish I had a longer viv for it so I could have a few.So far its been very hardy and I dont think they need as much or as large prey as pacs.I would do the tomato first.Anyways,Ive had good luck so far with mine and I get to see him alot.
