I hear you. The place I was looking for the rattlers at was called dinosaur provincial park. It was a really big site for palaeontologists finding over 500 species of Dino's. Unfortunately didn't see any snakes or scorpions, or black widows.
That's cool though too! Dinosaurs are awesome!
Yeah there's a few, velociraptors we're only turkyey sized, Utah was bigger, there's others that I can't remember right now
There was Deinonychus which was about the size of the velociraptors in Jurassic Park. There's also the recently discovered Dakotaraptor that was supposedly one of the largest raptors ever. My favorite has always been and always will be T.rex. But prehistoric reptiles like liopleurodon are up there too. And of course prehistoric fish! Dunkleosteus anyone?

A dunkleo would be an awesome sight to behold, wish we could bring em back or go back in time.........megalania (spl?) was also a extremely cool critter, as were the prehistoric giant owls (big enough that they would able to hunt humans).
