yeah there ridiculas prices i bought mine both secondhand a 55 gal fluval i paid £10 but had to reseal it cost me 7 50 for silacone and then the 75 has got no name to it but with a diy stand not a mark on the glass i paid 50 for i do fancy a ply tank but think i may just end up with a big puddle and a very irate mrs lol sucks having to go to work for 3 months man but on the plus you ll def see a dif in your lil p when you get home man
 
Dam still a lot cheaper I remember I was in my uncles in Scotland and it was cheap 2 the lfs was much better then irelands :( lol id be very lucky to get a 60L for 10 euro ha its a joke over here diy all the way lol and yeah I'd cancel the ply maybe even go acrylic its cheap enough to get cut and yeah exactly I dont know I might drag him along with me have accommodation sorted just trying to find a fish shop down there but no luck yet its pretty much in the middle of nowhere ha

that sucks man are you in southern or northen ireland id like to go to clondulane county fair and strong dog show
my lfs is really good the guys are great they order me all sorts of fish and when i fancy a change they ll part ex mine and i get loads of discount
i was looking into acrylic do you know a supplier in uk thats cheap ? i think id feel more comfortabe making an acyrilic tank than a wooden 1 it seems long an complicated marrying all them dif materials together
be cool to take him along do you have to travel far
 
Southern Ireland yeah my lfs is alright but one is an hour away and much better will order fish in for me but havent tried him yet just going to wait till im back and try something strange lol and yeah I was thinking the same myself and been watching tanked and acrylic is all they use so going with that and not sure about the UK sorry bud

ah thats cool got any thing strange in mind yet ive had some nice fish from mine odoe pike was cool and only 15 quid grew real fast very predatory if you build a monster tank you got a lot of scope for strange fish then lol be good to see how you build it keep me updated on it if you decide to go ahead with it
yeah i watch tanked too they do make some awesome tanks id love to have some of them tanks lol its torture
 
Yeah ill deffo be getting a rtc again had one a year ago ate from my hand but grew way 2 big and couldnt upgrade had no room!!and ha wont be doing that for a while till im back going to have to get a bigger shed soon lol could go a lot bigger then and yeah same so jelous :mad: lol
