Beuttikoferi talk

I used to avoid them because of their reputation for being timid and inactive. Eventually I got one, but just because I got a great combo deal with my Moke. But I'm really glad I got mine, she's not timid at all, in fact she's one of my more bold polys. And now that I have one and see how nice they look in person, I think I'd get another even if I knew it would be hiding a lot.

I traded mine off a long time ago because A) It hid constantly B) It grew soooooo slowly that it was going to get merc'd by the other polys in the big tank.

Might give gold dust another shot in the UJ tank I'm setting up, it'll be planted, so who knows, maybe it would thrive in that environment

Lmao @merc'd

My gold dust is actually the only poly I've rehomed and it was primarily because I never saw him. I saw him every 3 or so days and only a fleeting glimpse but he was a good looker and if he wasn't so shy I would of kept him in a heartbeat. He was also the slowest growing and eventually he would of probably ended up a meal for the teug or ornate when they were bigger

I have the same experience as the others. I have a 9-10" one he/she is always hiding and not very active. He is skinnier than the rest because he is less food aggressive. Beautiful coloring but just not active at all. When it does move its always behind the plants.
