Hi, scully. I know your store! I work for a doctor in Melbourne, but on Wednesdays we go to our office in Merritt Island and I drive by your store once a week. I've never been in there because I'm always running late but every single week I always plan to. All I can say is it looks great from the outside! LOL! I'll have to try to make a point to stop in there and say hi. I have five fish tanks, four dogs, a cat and a ferret, so I'm sure you have something in there that I need to buy!

Holy cow! I didn't read the whole thread at first when I responded to scully. I feel bad for all of you guys. I hope they keep this guy in jail where he belongs. Hard to believe he is still able to "conduct business" from behind bars. Go get 'em scully!

the reason I helped him is he can talk the talk and i trusted him for one week and a half weeks. then i dumped him.

trust me you would have been in the same place.

LOL.

Sorry to burst your bubble dude, read the story, don't give two sh**s if you knew him. You should have known pretty much instantly that was fishy as hell.

Trust me, most of us would not be in that position.

i'm sorry. 4.7 - 14 years. How is that right? He ruined this kids life and scammed countless people out of thousands of dollars. that just shows how screwed up our judicial system is

Reminds me of the kid that was driving under the influence of drugs and wrecked his car killing his girlfriend that was in the passanger seat, He got more time for the drug charges than the death.

swimdude you have alot of money for an 18 year old....lending him $400 and buying him dinner and a place to stay for a week thats probably 1 or 2 grand there mate

I'm sorry this has to be my first post... but I -really- don't believe this. I think there is a "Tony" from the article, but there are -way- too many holes in this story. I wouldn't be surprised if the thread author/conspirator made this whole thing up, then searched for an article to try to tie the ends together. Private investigators will not go chase a fish scam artist for free. There are probably -tons- of fish related scam artists (as laughable as that sounds) and coincidentally you get involved with a child molester that makes news? How do you have the money to support this guy? Why would you go to the store to buy plants to sell at a fish store? Didn't anything ring a bell there?

Either the author and the conspirator with the P.I. are the same person, or pulled this story off together, and I don't know how Scully ties in - maybe you had a similar experience with a Tony, you're making it up (or you are the author) - or maybe you actually did deal with this guy.

There is something very fishy with this story, no pun intended. I can't put my finger on it, but the immaturity of the author and the "lols" and the "close this thread" spread around don't really help. There is something really wrong with this story, most likely a heavily disguised troll that was lucky enough to find a real life "Tony" to cover their tracks.

I wasn't sure of the right place to post this, but this is the only thread that I remember Scully being on. I live not too far from her petstore in Cocoa Village FL and just happened to notice in FL Today newspaper, that there was a fire at her store today. I just thought I would let ya'll know and give a shout out to Scully and wish her the best.

Not saying if this is real or not...To th poster asking how an 18 had 1 or 2 grand. I had 8 when I was 18. I didnt have a car (was saving it) so no insurance or gas, lived at home and didnt go out much. Not too hard to save money.

Wow, just, wow. Honestly, scammers can go die in a fire. And I hate to say it, but for someone to let themselves be taken is part to blame.............
