I know this guy and he also scammed me out so much money you guys would cry. He is a very good con-artist and knows the fish trade very well so he talks a good game. Beware he will only take your money and screw you.

A good point. Why would an LFS buy plants that they can get at home depot themselves, and give you a profit? And yet again, why wouldn't you do it yourself if it was possible?

I would not be surprised if he tried to sell to you....he'll try to sell to any1....consider a nice bit of knowledge i willingly gave out. dont be so quick to judge.

No one is saying we can not get scammed also, we are just pointing out that based on your story there were a few bits of information that should have thrown up red flags immediately.

You can't put all of your ID in your checked luggage and get through airport security. At least not in Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA... The only airports I've been to since 9/11. You check your bags before you get to security and you've got to have ID to get through security. Right?
