Mike I hope you get your money back, but how can a judge return the money to his business partner, then command the partner to turn it over to the court. Is the business partner being charged at all? Without the partner being charged, the court would have no say over what he does with the money. I am just pointing out simple law, I did not mean to imply he had returned your money already. I simply meant to make a decision like that without having the individual in custody and without a proper hearing is very strange.
Had he skipped on his bond, had he missed appointed court dates? If he had and the judge told you his bond had not been revoked there would be no way for him to have an arrest warrant produced. At least not on the previous charges you said he had.
And they are returning to you the bond that stemmed from child porn charge? That would be a Federal charge, you I assume are working through the state courts. If you can get the Judge to return a federal bond through a state court you must have found a very compliant Judge.
