I caution anyone thinking of doing business with nick to take your business elsewhere. He took my money and when the deal went sour (problems with shipping), he kept my money and has offered nothing but excuses for the last few months. His primary excuse is having hard times. I can understand that everyone gets into rough patches. But, if you check his posts here and on other sites, you'll find he continues to buy fish yet, can't keep his obligation to me.

I have to admit that he did try to change the payment arrangement in the middle of the sale he was doing with me and then he was upset that I didn't want to send him a check. If the seller isn't good enough for pay-pal I won't buy from them.

That is completly wrong. I cannot believe that. He lied several times in those posts.
 
OddBall you have the man's address right ? well you must have to be able to send him the payment.

Either go round give him a slap then get your cash out of his pocket. Or contact the police about him do you have any proof of your postage ? well if he's cashed the check you will have a bank statment with the proof on.

And i'm sure with MFK been a respectable website and suppling a buy&sell forum, There should be some sort of law which backs buyers up if something like this should arise???

If not i think MFK should make all buyers & sellers sign some sort of agreement which if they do not comply with the agreement they get BANNED from MFK and if there is an incident like this reported to the correct authoritys i,e Police, Courts. Where the incident can be treated as theift because thats all it is.
