  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks guys, I'm pretty pissed!! But I saw tonight it doesn't look like their slime coat is shedding anymore, and they were moving around some. Before they would all just be piled up together on one side of the tank

Sorry to hear man, can't believe they got that stressed from a p-bass

I guess that just gos to show that what works for some may not work for others

I keep discus with my rays and they all got along great.... I've only seen rays suck on the Discus once in a long while and that's only my A.Hole ray lol but he never killed any!! Non of my other rays do it

I have a white butterfly Disus that has fallin in love with a ray.... Always hanging out together, the Discus would actually "what i called riding on his back lol and he doesnt mind at all!!

First time a saw it I thought my Discus was sick or about to pass away.... But that was 2 years ago and they still do it lmao turns out its some sort of Resting or nap

Well this morning they were or seemed alot more active. I'm gonna try to feed them when I get home. They atleast acted hungry for once so that's a plus. Ill also post a picture of the male that got beat all to hell. Its pretty rough looking

Lil update. Been a hard couple weeks. Not sure what my rays and I went through, but ended up loosing my female motoro, and the leoxmarble male... Everything as far as water params go checked out fine, but they never started eating again. Since then my other rays have turned around and are eating like old times and moving around back to normal... So that's a good thing. The marble that got beat all to he'll is doing as good if not better then the others.... Odd but I'm grateful I didn't loose anymore.

Thanks everyone

That sucks. Sorry for your loss...my Aro/severums/CL's don't bother my rays but my large Geophagus Daemon picks at them sometimes cuz he sifts the sand but no serious injuries to the rays.
