I went with Advanced Acrylics out of CA. Steve is the owner and seemed like a pretty good guy. I'm very happy with the tank. You might want to check out his website. He has done work for Shedd in Chicago etc.

Great heads up. I was planning a 750 from them for my addition. Now I'll have to rethink that.

If you get your money back, and get to keep the crappy product, couldn't you cut what you have and build it into a smaller tank? I'd think you could get at least a 500 out of it if you did the cuts right.

UPDATE...

I spoke to the owner last Monday. He acted completely surprised that his tank was crap. He said he would call me back later that day to make arrangements to pick everything up from my house, and give me my money back. Here is a big surprise - he never called. The next day he sent me an email that said he would get back to me at a later date to make pick up arrangements, but there was no mention of a refund.

As of last Friday I still had no refund issued to my Visa by him, so I disputed the charges with my credit card company. I should have my money back in about a month.

In the meantime, his crap is still in my garage and I have to park in the driveway. He has about a week to get it out or I am going to start charging him for storage.

Not that I am feeling vindictive, but he deserves it!

I get a warm fuzzy feeling now everytime I read that somebody will not buy from them. :D
