The coloration is different because of the lighting as well as using a flash.
He's a little beaky by some standards, but overall has been a great fish and hasn't had any health issues (other than catching a beat-down) for well over a year now since I've had him.

Nice male. I'm working on my own line n should have some bgjd fry really soon . I have a nice 8 inch male that I'm going to pair off with a 6.5 reg female that's super colorful n I have a 6.5 ebjd female that's going with a 10 inch stunning jd male. Both ebjd are almost flawless also the reg jd are extremely nice a's well. I took my time selecting all my fish n growing them out except the jd's I selected them from a breeder that had them
