BGJD fry

The blue gene are much bluer than regular Jacks, I have several spawns right now, but they are all very small, getting about 25% EBJD in each spawn, I will have lots in about a month of EBJD and BGJD. Ken
 
Oh I think he was just stating that even though it is a 25% chance you get EBJD fry each time, that one can get 0% fry (odds = (.75)^number of fish)) or 100% fry (odds = (.25)^number of fish) all as EBJD.

But obviously with ~200 fry one normally gets ~25% of them EBJD.

Do you sale your BGJD??? Because I have been looking for them everywhere.

I bought 5 last year. Out of that 5 I got a spawning trio (1 male, 2 female). The male has spawned with both females and, while I haven't grown them on too far (past a few weeks), I have never seen any white fry. What am I looking for and at what size should I be able to tell?
Is 1/4" big enough?
 
They are not white, but have fewer bars than the regular fry, segregate out the smaller ones and you should get most of them. Ken
