Thanks Tommy. Both sets of my jacks quickly bonded quickly once together. One trick to get them to breed is to feed them frozen brine 2 or 3 days in a row.

Thanks Steve. He is very pretty! So far luck is on my side with the spawn. I can tell they are growing and see lots of "wiggling". Hope they continue to do well. I'm anxious to see how many blues I get.

I was looking at the pictures on your blog. The really dark BGJD that you call "blackie" looks almost identical to my female who just spawned.

Just got home from work and my EBJD and BGJD laid eggs. Hope he fertilized them this time. She will not let him near the eggs. This is their second batch.

I thought I would add a video of about 1/3 of the spawn from my BGJD's. I had issues with my filter last night and the female scattered the fry all over the tank. I recovered part of them and just decided to keep them in my breeder and feed them myself.
