i remember on aqualandpetsplus.com, there was a picture of a guy holding a baby bgk. It was 1/3" at most. he never said how he did it

yeah i seen that pic, really cute little baby BGK

cool

will try breeding them

There is a guy here in Australia who has bred them and while i cant say for sure as he has been very secretive about it from what ive heard (from other breeders) he had a 5' tank basically completely filled with different thickness PVC pipes and they bred after a big water change of RO or distilled water.

I have a 9 inch male BGK and would love to be able to breed him.
I have been doing some research and found mostly the same information already shared here.

My question is for those who are currently keeping more than one BGK in a tank - were they introduced at the same time - all about the same size?

I am looking for a female and not having much luck. I would love to find a mature (8-9) inch female but I don't even see juvies in the LFS around here any more.

i had introuced my BGKs all together when they were about 2''.
so far i havent seen any agression towards each other.

I think i got my knifes to breed because i had 2 babies swimming but they vanished. (prob got eaten) but i see eggs on my african hard wood log and in their cave. one is a normal knife and one is an albino which is what i think is the female cause i thought i saw it lay eggs. also i think the sex organ is on the chin if you look at the chin there is a white extendable thingy. any suggestions?
