BGK favorite thing to eat when its smaller?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I should add that the massivore delight is very potent and will quickly foul your water. It will make your water smell rotten. I feed my BGK 1 tablet broken into pieces as soon as i wake in the morning, and another before i go to bed. I do a 25% water change every week. Clean my filters every other week or so. It's all good now.

Sorry, Black Ghost Knife fish.

So can they eat prawns and shrimp from the grocery stores? I tried brine shrimp and honestly none pf my fish really care for it lol.

Yes.

While feeding exclusively on Bloodworms, it will only recognize Bloodworms as food. If your BGK doesn't seem to take anything else, give it time. It will learn that whatever food you give it is edible, but it needs time to adjust to the new food.

My is BGK is now 13" and he grew up on frozen blood worms. Now i feed him Hikari Massivore Delight and he goes absolutely bonkers. He's grown faster since, longer, and thicker. He's more active also. My bag of Massivore Delight was just some left over bag from before my Clown Knife jumped out of his tank. I wish i was feeding him this stuff sooner. I swear by this stuff. It's the ****.

Yeah, massivore is basically a bigger version of carnivore. I've fed my BGK hikari carnivore since I got him at 2" and he's at an easy 7" in about 4 months. Best looking bgk i've seen in person!

I'm actually not a huge fan of hikari, but carnivore and massivore do produce good results. My other tanks I feed mostly New Life Spectrum.

New Life Spectrum is a good product that i've used before with good results but strangely enough, it's a product line that is hard to come by in my area unfortunetly. On the other hand, all of my lfs carry Hikari products.
