Can try mixing the bloodworm juice with the lance fish and see if that helps. Wouldn’t use the beef heart as it’s too fatty.

I was going to say that! I was also going to say try black worms also. The very large bgk at my lfs will also eat vibra bites. Alot of finicky fish are supposed to like those as they look like blood worms. My personal take is my fish dont care for them. The ones that will eat anything will eat those. But everything I have has tried them.

What size is your BGK? I soaked pellets in the juice of frozen bloodworms and had my juvenile trained to eat pellets in approx. 1 week. After that he went on the hunt for the pellets as soon as he smelled them hit the water.
Far better for its long term health vs foods such as beef heart & tubifex.

Black worm!
Is that a USA thing!

I have tried pieces of washed small live earth worm the BGK just mouthed them and left them after..

MIne was probably 4-5" when I got him, so if it was me I would try tiny size pellets soaked in frozen blood worm juice. I find them to be quite smart, and have a hyper sensitive nose. Mine was not difficult to train at all, and I know others that shared the same experience as I did in pellet training. Use something stinky, a garlic enhanced food. Good luck

Maybe pieces of carnivore pellets?

I don't know if black worms are a USA thing. I live in the usa so maybe. They are small aquatic worms. Most fish and amphibians love them, and they are better then alot of other stuff.
