BGK feeding

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have never smelled Carnivore, but Massivore is certainly mega stinky. At 3.5" the particle size would have to be very small though.

They smell the same.
I used it to get my little 2" polys to eat. Id break it into 3 pieces. One pellet is about the size of a pencil eraser in diameter. You are right though you may not be able to break it up small enough and still maintain any sort of integrity.

I only fed my BGK Hikari sinking goldfish pellets when I got it at 3". Never had a problem. Feed it at night when it comes out. It's now a foot long and eats anything I throw at it. Still eats pellets too.

I know this is terrible but I feed my BGK several foods that I enjoy eating,
He loves Boiled broccoli, some hotdog meat, I fed him earth worms from my front yard HAND FED btw, so proud of myself lol, a piece or two of ground beef, which he loved too as well as my betta fish. Spartacus (his name lol) is really friendly despite having him for now 4 weeks now, and really outgoing and explores in the day time despite also have LED lights on.

He has a cave system setup with PVC pipes to swim in and out of and a plastic rock like cave on top so he can swim up and around.
For now he's in a 20gallon tank, soon he will be moved into a 65 gallon tank this week or next.
He is about 3.5 inchs and a healthy lil bugger <3 .
He gets along well with my Betta fish but is a bit territorial when the betta gets curious and decides to check out his cave and gets nipped a tiny bit on his tail, but both are on the same diets mostly.

I also feed him dried blood worms and sinking pellets, and he goes to the top for fish flakes during feeding for the betta.

I'm going to the local bait store soon to check out what worms are out there to feed him today, I'll try to record and post here:)
