Please list some inexpensive bgk food.

I can only think of buying blood worms in bulk.

Also what is a good dry food for black ghost knives?

Thanks.

Cheapest food I get for my BGK is out in the back yard and I use a shovel to find it...but it's getting cold and they are getting harder and harder to find. I tried cultivating but it didn't really work out too well.

ya, thanks forgot about earthworms and I have the small red ones and big pencil thick and thicker night crawlers. And with all of my oak leaves that they love on the ground all I have to do is to dig a inch or two beyond the leaves.

I had one that loved Hikari sinking carnivore pellets. Because he was otherwise hard to feed (he was always hiding when I was feeding the rest of the tank), I would take a piece of tubing, snake it down to where he slept. I would then drop some pellets down the tube, and place them right next to him. He never missed any food he had a fair chance of getting to.

I just use bloodworms and brine shrimp. I feed my little guy with a turkey baster and he sucks the food right out. He'll go around the tank after feeding time and become the cleanup crew. So he takes care of himself too.

Mine mostly will eat bloodworms, smells them and zooms out as soon as they hit the water. He has occasionally nibbled shrimp pellets, after they soften. Last night I got worried because he didnt come out to eat, but he eventually did and realized he didnt come out because a peice of shrimp has went into his log and he was eating it, it was hanging out of his mouth. Mines only about 5".
