Thanks man, the tank is a bit bare at the mo, it's only got two Pleuro's and two royal plecs in. I do miss my Black Ghost Knife though.

The Pleuros will need the room later.

Sorry, got really busy at work and didn't have a chance to see if there were replies. Thanks for the ideas, they are good ones to consider.

I am thinking I will go with a white silica sand, to offset the black ghost knife.

Will the black fish feel secure on a light substrate? I've just heard how skittish they can be. It would certainly be a striking contrast, if the ghost didn't hide all the time. Cool idea!

Sorry for late reply. The Pearl grew up with the other fish (she was only 2 or 3 inches when i got her) so never bothered them. That or just lucky I guess
