BGK Picture??

Can captive grown BGKs reach the 20" mark? Somebody said in the posted link provided by the other poster that they had an 18-19 inch BGK. Do you think that was WC?

Not sure but it can happen. Just like many living animals including humans. Some are short and some are tall.

i have a bgk that is about 16-18" long. i bought if from my LFA at 4" and have had it about 2 years. the tank its in is 8'x24"x26" im not shure howmany gallong it is. i bought it from a friend who had it made to fit in a recess in his wall...

ill let you know how big they can get in captivity because iam gonna put one in a planted tank filled to the max with live beares like guppies so besides regular daily feedings he will have a constant supply of fry..check back in a couple years and ill have the results he/she will be in a 6ft 175g bowfront
