BGK Sensitive to Flourish Excel?

Hi Hi =^_^=

Being a scaless fishy where it is more sensitive to chemicals and
medications.

Would Using Recomended and proper doze of Flourish Excel
Harm or effect the Black ghost knife. Even though it says it should
not harm fish if properly used, which that i did... would it be a problem to the ghost knife? =S or i shouldnt be worried? =^__^=

Also one more Question, does active carbon in filter absorb the Flourish Excel, or at least some of it? =^_^=

Hmm, not sure about this but I think we need the opinions of those who have bgk in a planted tank.
But as we know chemicals in the h2O is harmful to scaless fishes.

Maybe use half the dosage recommended and keep an eye on your BGK. If anything happens, do a water change. Carbon seems to remove anything, but I've medicated my tanks and don't remove the carbon and they seem to get better around the same time. So I think that while it probably does absorb some chemicals, it doesn't absorb it all.

In recent years I have kept a BGK in a planted tank and used excel without issues. I have kept angelicus loaches in the same tank without a problem from dosing excel.

PERFECT!!! =D yes yes my BGK is in planted.. so far hes NoT showing signs of strEss or anything.. i added carbOn or extra bag incase.. though i have read that the carbon wont really absorb the Flourish Excel much. TOday would be day 2 of him with the Flourish =x

Wish me luck guys that nothing happens to mee BGK, which i dont think anything will
based on what u guys have said =D
