I havent posted an update since July or so. It's been a pretty busy year for me.
Hopefully I can focus on breeding a bit more this coming year

What kind of sand is that? I really like it

Red garnet/black diamond 50/50 mix. I really don't like it now with just cichla. I was planning on bichirs in this tank as well but never went that route. I've taken half out already.

Thanks ken! I like beastly......haha I'm thinking the zullie is a little on the pudgy side tho. She likes to eat, what can I say.

Is it just me or are the pics really dark? They look fine on phone but real dark on comp. I'm getting used to the settings on this camera.

Looks fine. My daugher got a new D5200, tell me what setting to use. Can't seem to take clear pics. I'm sure op error.
