Welcome back Jacob

Whoa, Jakob. What happen to your collection? If I recall you had one of the best In your country
ya what happen to your collection? I recalled you having one of the best collection.

3 bichirs have been added to the tank, another retro and two sens. The newer retro is smaller than the first one at only 4.5". Sens are 5" and 7". Pics soon.

The retros seem to have settled in nicely, better than the sens and seem to have more appetite, the sens will catch up soon, judging from experience. The retros aren't as active as the sens, but that didn't surprise me at all.

I will only be adding the slower growing upper jaw bichirs for now, ornates grow too big for my current set ups, and too fast.
I will be adding mokes in a couple of months if they will be available for order. And I will probably jump some rare finds here if I see any, such as teugelsi and weeksi, I know they grow as big as the ornates, just much slower.

I've actually forced myself to sell all mine off cuz the addiction got too rediculous for my wallet :( it's definitely gonna come back though. This addiction is a disease! According to my research (which I've done none of) and my professional opinion as a doctor (which I actually am not) I am classifying it as polypterholism. It is quite possibly genetic as well

Lololololol

Just a little update

Still have these 4 bichirs. Man retros sure are slow growers, smaller one is 6" and the larger one is about 7".
Sens are both around 7" mark.

I will have to post some more pics soon.

I ask members please not to post any more pics of their own bichirs in this thread, this is mainly for updates of my own bichirs.

you can find 2 retros in Iceland and I can only find 1 in 3 years. I never would've thought haha. How have you been able to hold off not getting any more for this long? I can usually only last a couple months.
