Thanks for the guide, anyone know if bichirs are any different then more modern fish in the placement of the otolith?

I think they're pretty much the same.

I made a mistake when I voted. Mine is 19, not 14. I got this Endlicherii from Mike Semas. He said it was imported in 95, so the true age isn't known.

I know there are lots of people on here with old bichirs, but they seem to choose not to post, either due to not knowing the exact age or other reasons.
