bichir and topaz indian puffer

my albino bichir and my topaz indian puffer unfortunatly is not getting along. the puffer likes to nip fishes but it cant catchany of the fishes in my tank except the bichir and the eel. but the eel is good at hiding. the bichir unfortunalty is getting nipped. the fins at the very end of the tail has been nipped a pretty bad. is the nipping a problem for the bichir becuase he now floats on the top of the tank and obviously thats a bad thing for a bichir. will it die or will it survive with the puffer in the tank?

Bichirs and puffers are a bad mix. My mbu puffer, while relatively peaceful for a puffer, has maimed and killed several bichirs and catfish. I keep it away from all bottom feeders.

aish... thats bad news for me... i dont know if i wanan keep my bichir and tire track eel or my puffer...
