I have a male n female Senegal and one Delhezi. The male sen keeps biting the female, it leaves the Delhezi alone, would that be aggression or possible breeding behavior? All three are about 11” and the sens are WC if that helps
Thanks

Nipping is indicative of breeding behaviour. Give them some spawning mops, F1 fish would be interesting to see :D

Thanks! I doubt any babies will come of it tho, I have a pike cichlid and an Oscar in there
Give them a thick mop, preferably sank to the tank bottom, then you can pull it when it's full of eggs.

what size tank and also I have heard of several breeders that use cheerleading pom poms as spawning mops
It’s a 120, I’m not really trying to breed them, but if they do I’ll definitely try to save the young. I had to put the female in a hospital tank today, the male has gotten very aggressive with her and damaged her eye
