Mine-

I fed them pieces of fish... First time. Been feeding them pellets. Not much action in the video... But to witness the deathroll is awesome...

My regular sens never have but the small albino is pure evil. I added a juruense cat about the same size as him to the tank and he swam up, grabbed it behind the fin and rolled. Now he is in the big tank and he swam up to the RTC and bit a fin and started to roll. One day he will be a snack.

the death roll in similar fish have been reported to be as fast as 14 revolutions per second give or take a cpl.more on this later-Anne

My sens do this now... It's amazing to watch this behavior. They've only done it with nightcrawlers. One will usually grab one end and swim away with it, then another will pick up on it and grab the other end... A tug-of-war insues, followed by an unimaginable death roll by both.

The first time they did it I was shocked. They were smack-dab in the center of my tank, up in "mid-air" spinning furiously. I couldn't even count the revolutions.

I just caught my Lap doing this a couple of times... It was pretty sweet.


It makes me want to buy more bichirs... Lower jaw...
