So when I fed the tank he perked up...he's still really weak though...didn't go for his pellet, but I knew he was interested.

Good luck, you probably just stressed him out. Turn off the lights and let him chill for a bit and he will most likely be ok. Unless, of course, you damaged him removing the CAE. Next time let him eat in peace

He was choking...the fish was too big to swallow, I had to remove it!
Well today he's swimming around, stalking...he's acting very hungry...looks like he's ok.
nah he would have gotten it down mine ate one bigger than that when he was the same size. Every time I have trouble spotting a fish I look at the biggest Sens belly for a bulge. I was worried about mine after the cae meal as the lump was huge but it actually went away in a matter of hours.
