Bichir feeding times

I have 3 Senegals, and mine are always making sure I feed them. They come to the front of the glass and look at me right in the face like "Moooooom Feed us!"

They eat anytime there is food available. haha. I feed them massivore.

Once at night before I go to bed (12am-2am) and I skip every few days so they don't get fat....It's definatly a Senegal you've got their max around 8"-12" (btw mine is 12")

pics of 12" sen?? those aren't too common love to see a pic of the beast.





i always fed mine righ tin the middle of the day. makes them more active. feeding nocturnal fish at night just means they will never come out IME

I feed mine early in the morning before I turn on the lights and then once in the evening a few hours before lights out. they usually find food by smell, and will eat just about any meaty food.

Some are a little blurry I know he's a foot because when he was in my 55gal he was .5" longer than it's width

thats a big sen, very nice. Mine is about 34cm and its a semi longfinned sen.

cool little sen I feed mine in the morning and at night before bed they have no problem feeding at anytime during the day

i have a senigal im gana get an ornate bichir they are preaty expensive

I feed my 6" sen once a day around 9 pm but I'm pretty sure he'd eat anytime.
