I was thinking more of Polli Palmas since the head is broad. My weeksi has a sharp narrow head.

actually weeksii has a big round head, hence one of its common names: fathead bichir. palmas polli on the other hand has a somewhat pointed head.

sweet, thanks guys. i just got into bichirs a few weeks ago and i already have three. they are one of the only fish that get along w my armatus.

Generally bichirs only attack fish smaller than itself and do fairly well in a community. I would worry about the armatus attacking the bichir when it get bigger though.
