I would if I could, trust me. I'm home right now while transferring colleges, and I'm going to be leaving next spring, and my Dad wouldn't want to take care of a bigger tank at all .

i understand that bud,what i mean is something a bit bigger,lets say 18" wide instead of 13" and your dad wouldnt even notice.

Hes never going to notice the water change difference its not like your going from a 55 to a 125,he would notice that im sure,lol.

Look into a 75 that 6" makes a huge difference for bichirs you can go from a 55 holding 2-3 to a 75 holding 6-10. Just negotiate I did it for 2+ years and has paid off finally. Talk to him see if he is interested in building it into the wall that is what got my dad to crack.

I have 3 senegal and 2 delhezi in a 55 along with a gold nugget pleco..BGK and african knife..The knife fish arent that big though...Biggest polly would be senegal at 8 inches right now...DELS around 6.
