im thinking about getting a bichir for my tank which has a rtc a tsn, gar, pbass, and arow. will he be alright and i heard that bichirs readily bit other fish. and i dont want my other fish to be injured or anything

I wouldn't have an RTC for a tank mate with a Bichir. It'll end up becoming a snack.

Agreed. I could see several of those fish eating even a full grown bichir when all the fish have matured

In short you have some large predatory fish, they'll eat a Bichir. Even a full grown one unless all your fish are still tiny. That sounds like a pretty full load for a tank anyway, how big is it?

Yes, a half-grown RTC could easily eat a full-grown bichir from several of the smaller species. Even the TSN and Pbass could probably eat a decent size bichir

its a 29 gallon. they r tiny right now the arow is just 7 in. and the rest r smaller. but big enough to not to be eaten by each other. im getting a 360 for them. then im going to build a 20,000 gallon tank

Once they're in the 20k, stock the 360 with bichirs...

When are you getting your 360? You seriously have those fish in a 29? That's too bad.
