bichir moving day (load warning)

well today was the moving day. everyone is in the new tank now. i took lots of pics of them in the rubber maid holding bin. there is a 18" ruler on the bottom. i didnt have time to measure everyone like i wanted to. i also have pics of the tank 72"l x 30w x 24h (224 gallons). water was still cloudy from the air bubbles, so i will take better pics later.

thank you!! the sand is 3m colorquartz. it comes in 2 grades, S and T. the S is fine like sand and the T is like fine crushed gravel. i picked it up at National Pool and Tile for about $16.50 per 50 pounds. my tank has a mix of 100 pounds of red and 100 pounds of white. it comes in many colors too. here is a pic of the bag and a sample of grades and colors.

mmm from the looks of those tubes, i really think the black with lavender would look really nice! maybe one day when i feel like actually changing the gravel to sand, that's what i'll do

Beautifully exectuted, Xrayz! Good job aquascaping... love the looks of the substrate sand mixture, and the 'driftwood bridge' definitely makes a eye catching stand-out focal point! Tank well done!!
