Are there any Bichirs from south america? Thanks for any replies to this ?.
 
No they are strictly an African freshwater species-Anne

i think you still can as long as one doen't think the other is food.
 
Cmon big-g, you know that Im a die hard SA/CA guy. I bought my 1st african (distochodus) yesterday, and I just felt wrong doing it. Ill get over it though, distochodus are GREAT looking fish.
 
well, go ahead and try out a cheap senegal. i guarentee you'll fall in love with it.
