Cheers all, little insight for you.. We're still working out fulfilment, so I can't do preorders until they have worked out shipping prices. If I do it myself, shipping internationally can be the price of the book itself, whereas a fullfilment company will help keep those prices down. I work in the publishing industry for a company which already does this, but it's a case of bringing together the printing, storage, sales and distribution. It'll be a minefield otherwise.

Publishing companies have in-house designers to layout the book themselves, which is why I took the self publishing route. I design non-fiction books and magazines for science communication, so I wouldn't want to go to a publisher. Gauged a really good idea of sales (yay). Most of the sales are projected to be overseas; the US and the Philippines being the top countries, followed by much more of South East Asia, and then the UK.

To be honest, there's not much left to do now! Aside from prepress and final proofreading, it's only the things underlined above, left to do! Thanks everyone for being patient on this. Alongside other personal projects, I work full time despite Covid, so progress has been slow, but creeping along nonetheless!
