Hey guys i want to put in a bichir in my pond. its heated to 74F and i plan on feeding him mealworms and frozen blood worms. He will be in their with a 8" RTC and if i get him the bichir will be 4-6". Will this be ok?

Ok, mealworms, frozen blood worms & earthworms? the earthworms from the fishing store is ok? So 85F i'll heat it to. Also 74F, you may have a big pond but the temp will only stress the bichirs if keep in there. Even at 75-77F they hardy eat. You'll end up with a skinny and stunted bichir even in that big pond. Unless you can hit the pond up to 79-82F then you'll have a nice huge bichirs in the near future.
