Hey guys, long time reader here- first time poster.

Could use some advice~

I currently have a 50 gallon set up with two 9-10 inch bichir, a rope fish, two 3.5 inch featherfin catfish, and a leftover convict cichlid who doesnt have a place to go at the moment. Im more than likely going to be giving the convict to my local store owner in the next week.

Im looking for some suggestions on ornate fish that would work well with these guys. The bichir and rope fish like a ph of 7 and are docile. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, I really want some beautiful fish to fill out the tank. Im going to begin working on a planted/scaped set up in a 125 gallon in the next few weeks to migrate everyone to as they progress in size.

Thanks
Much love

the common 'dinosaur eel' variety. I bought them a few years ago and they're been extremely healthy.

I'm thinking about going with an african butterfly, and a leopard ctenopoma or two, but I would really like some color in the tank.
