bichir royal pleco tankmates?

I've had no problems with mine, 2 years and counting. But they did grow up together.

If u want the royals to be healthy... I wouldnt.... Plecos need other tank mate that dont bother their level of food chain...

Plecos eat wood and vegetable matter, bichirs eat fish and meaty foods. How on earth is keeping a bichir with a royal plec going to make the plec unhealthy?

well plecos cant bother them and they cant bother plecos... so of course

I have to disagree. My ornate owned my royal. The spines can do some damage.

Plecos actually learn from each other and their environment.. And is best to limit the bottom feeder to only one kind of speices....

Not quite sure what is meant by this. If you mean to say they have completely different diets and having such a carnivore with a herbivorous pleco is less than ideal for the pleco, then I agree.
